Atmosphere's Ant provides the right instrumentation for this rockin' and soulful rap project. deM atlaS sings until his voice breaks, and when he pushes his voice it sounds like the baring of his soul, not the extension of his vocal chords. All of the album is dipped in the chocolate of contemporary soul and hip-hop. Bad Actress has no featuring artists, and it doesn't need them. This is recommended for fans of the [recent] Childish Gambino, Anderson .Paak, Atmosphere, & Kendrick Lamar.
